Llanelli AFC lost 2-0 away to Llantwit Major in the FAW Championship South on Saturday. A quickfire double from A. Roscrow in the first half decided the contest, handing the Reds their fourth consecutive league defeat.
The visitors, who sit 16th in the table with only two points from nine games, were undone by a four-minute spell before the interval. Roscrow opened the scoring in the 27th minute and added a second just four minutes later. That brace proved decisive as Llanelli struggled to find a response.
This result continues a difficult start to the season for Llanelli AFC. Their recent form shows one draw and four losses from their last five outings, with the team conceding 25 goals across their nine league matches so far. The defensive frailties were evident again in this latest setback.
Attention now turns to a key home fixture next weekend. Llanelli AFC will host seventh-placed Baglan Dragons on Friday, 2 October, looking to finally get points on the board.
