Llanelli AFC conceded six goals in a heavy 6-2 defeat away to Ynyshir Albions on Saturday. The result leaves The Reds rooted to 16th in the FAW Championship table with just two points from eleven games.

J. Haig opened the scoring for the hosts after sixteen minutes, with C. Morgan and T. Archibald adding further goals before the break. D. Facey and another from Haig extended the lead early in the second half, before Haig completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot with fifteen minutes remaining.

Llanelli's only response came from the spot through K. Whitmore, who scored twice in the final ten minutes. Those consolations did little to mask a fifth consecutive league defeat, a run detailed in the club's recent results.

The scale of the loss shows a difficult season where Llanelli have now conceded 33 goals. They sit 19 points behind the league leaders and face a quick turnaround with a Welsh Cup tie against Caerau (Ely) this Friday.
