Llanelli AFC will try to stop a damaging five-match losing streak when they visit Ynyshir Albions in the FAW Championship South this Saturday. The Reds are rooted to 16th place with only two points from their opening ten games, having conceded 27 goals.
Their most recent defeat was a 2-1 home loss to Baglan Dragons last week, where E. Morgan's early goal was overturned by two late strikes. That result extended a miserable run of form that includes heavy away losses to Caerau (Ely) and Llantwit Major. The team has not scored in three of those five defeats.
Saturday's opponents, Ynyshir Albions, currently sit in seventh position, presenting a significant challenge for a Llanelli side desperate for points. The fixture list shows a tough run of games, and the club's full fixtures schedule highlights the importance of finding a result soon. Managerial focus will be on shoring up a defence that has been breached repeatedly this season.
The match kicks off at 2:30pm local time on October 10th.
